Industrial Fabrics Inc. delivers geosynthetic soil stabilization and ground improvement solutions for soft, compressible, and weak subgrade conditions encountered in infrastructure, commercial, and industrial construction. Our products provide immediate bearing capacity improvement and facilitate construction access over sites that would otherwise require costly subgrade replacement or deep foundation systems.
Our soil stabilization product line is engineered for applications ranging from temporary haul road access over soft ground to long-term subgrade reinforcement in permanent pavement structures. We provide bearing capacity improvement calculations, aggregate thickness reduction designs, and field installation guidance for all stabilization scenarios.
Available products include biaxial and triaxial geogrids for aggregate base reinforcement over soft subgrade, high-strength woven geotextiles for separation and tensioned membrane effect reinforcement, geocell panels for load distribution on extremely soft ground, prefabricated vertical drains for accelerated consolidation of soft clay deposits, and geotextile encased column systems for embankment support.
Soft ground geotextile design follows FHWA NRCS filter criteria and AASHTO M288 separation fabric requirements. Geogrid stabilization designs apply the Giroud-Han method with laboratory-measured CBR and project traffic inputs. Prefabricated vertical drain design follows Barron consolidation theory with smear zone adjustments per Hansbo. Products are accompanied by ISO/IEC 17025-accredited test reports.
