Industrial Fabrics, Inc. was established in 1981 by Cary S. Goss in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. What began as a distributor of construction-related geosynthetic products has grown into a major manufacturer serving clients along the Gulf Coast and internationally.
Over more than four decades in business, IFI has continuously evolved � transitioning within the last 20 years from primarily a distributor to becoming a significant manufacturer of many of the geosynthetic products it sells, including geotextiles, geogrids, erosion control, and pipeline protection systems.
In 2024, IFI announced an $8 million investment to establish a second Louisiana production facility in Pointe Coupee Parish � a testament to our continued commitment to growth, quality, and serving the Gulf Coast and beyond.
