Industrial Fabrics Inc. supplies engineered gabion systems for retaining walls, revetments, channel protection, and slope stabilization. Our gabion baskets, mattresses, and sack units provide flexible, permeable, and durable earth retention and erosion protection that integrates naturally into the surrounding landscape.

Gabion systems are well-suited for projects where rigid concrete structures would be impractical or environmentally undesirable. The wire mesh and stone fill construction allows for drainage, vegetation establishment, and minor differential settlement without structural failure. Our engineering team provides wall design, stability analysis, and specification writing support.

Available gabion product lines include double-twist hexagonal mesh baskets in standard and zinc-aluminum coated wire, welded wire gabion panels, Reno mattresses for channel protection, gabion sacks for toe protection, and geogrid-reinforced gabion composite wall systems. Rock fill specifications and basket sizes are customized to project loading and aesthetic requirements.

Gabion wire mesh meets ASTM A975 and ASTM A974 specifications. Zinc-aluminum coating per ASTM A856 provides superior corrosion resistance in marine and aggressive soil environments. Gabion wall designs follow AASHTO LRFD and FHWA NHI-10-025 design manuals. Fill stone must meet project-specific hardness, soundness, and gradation criteria.
