Industrial Fabrics Inc. provides geosynthetic solutions for road and pavement construction including subgrade reinforcement, base course stabilization, paving interlayer systems, and edge drain installation. Our products improve roadway structural performance, extend pavement design life, and reduce aggregate requirements for roads over soft and variable subgrades.
From low-volume unpaved access roads to high-traffic interstate highway reconstruction, our road and pavement geosynthetics are engineered to meet AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT performance requirements. We provide pavement design support and geosynthetic product selection assistance tailored to project CBR, traffic loading, and design life requirements.
Available products include biaxial and triaxial geogrids for subbase reinforcement, nonwoven geotextile separation and filtration fabrics, paving fabric interlayer systems for crack retardation and moisture barrier applications, geocomposite edge drain systems, and geocell panels for unpaved road base reinforcement. Aggregate thickness reduction designs are provided for all reinforced road applications.
Unpaved road geogrid design follows the Giroud-Han method with project-specific CBR and axle load inputs. Paving fabric interlayers conform to AASHTO M288 Class C geotextile requirements and are applied per NCHRP 557 and state DOT standard specifications. Edge drain geocomposites are designed for required transmissivity per FHWA LTBP Program guidelines.
