Industrial Fabrics Inc. supplies geosynthetic products for porous and permeable pavement systems that manage stormwater at the source by allowing rainfall to infiltrate through the pavement surface and into the subgrade. Our products support pervious concrete, porous asphalt, permeable interlocking concrete paver, and gravel-filled pavement systems.
Porous pavement geosynthetics from Industrial Fabrics Inc. are designed to maintain subgrade bearing capacity, prevent subgrade fines migration into the pavement drainage layer, and prolong the infiltration performance of permeable pavement systems. Products are compatible with EPA LID stormwater management credit programs and local municipal design manuals.
Available products include geotextile separation and filtration fabrics for porous pavement subbase, geocell panels for gravel-filled porous paving applications, open-cell geogrid paving systems for turf and gravel paving, underground stormwater storage geocomposite chambers, and geotextile wraps for perforated underdrain pipe in permeable pavement storage reservoirs.
Porous pavement geotextile separation fabrics are designed per AASHTO M288 and FHWA LTBP guidelines. AOS is selected per ASTM D4751 to prevent subgrade fines migration while maintaining adequate long-term permittivity above the design infiltration rate. Geocell paving product load capacity meets HS-20 traffic loading per ASTM D6637 tensile and junction efficiency testing.
