Industrial Fabrics Inc. delivers integrated geosynthetic systems for coastal and shoreline protection, combining erosion resistance, wave energy attenuation, and long-term structural stability. Our engineered systems protect shorelines, beaches, dunes, and nearshore infrastructure from erosion, storm surge, and sea-level rise impacts.
Our coastal protection systems have been deployed on projects ranging from municipal beach preservation to critical infrastructure hardening along hurricane-prone coastlines. We provide site-specific design support, installation training, and post-storm performance documentation to support project owners and coastal regulators.
Available systems include geotextile tube revetments, geocontainer units for breakwater and groyne construction, erosion control blankets for dune stabilization, rock armor underliner fabrics, and permeable geotextile mattress systems for low-velocity scour protection. Products are available in project-specific lengths, diameters, and fill specifications.
Design standards applied include USACE EM 1110-2-1913, PIANC guidelines, and CUR Rapport 174. Geotextile tubes are designed for hydraulic fill pressure using the Leshchinsky method. Revetment geotextile AOS is selected to satisfy filter criteria between armor stone and native sand substrate per USACE specifications.
